My daughter booked and paid ,in full ,for a weeks holiday there in July 2006. Her holiday was due to take place in July 2007. Owing to circumstances beyond her control she has had to cancel ( effectively giving them 28 weeks notice)
They are refusing to give her money back on the grounds that her circumstances are not covered by the holiday insurance which they ,more or less, insisted was taken out. She is not averse to losing some money but, having been deserted by her husband, leaving her with 2 young children ,she cannot afford to lose the full 500plus.
Has anyone any experience of this and, apart from protesting, what can she do?
