| Hi Guys,
Were going to Pine Lakes Resort in the Lake District in about 4 weeks.
Were only going for 3 days and was wondering if anyone had been? Whats it like? What interesting places are there to visit?
We have a 4 year old and a 2 year old.
By the way, I have just joined this forum and must say, It looks really cool.

| We had several very happy holidays with our children at Pine Lake in the late '80s/early '90s when it was part of a normal timeshare deal which we used a lot and felt we had a good deal for our money but since the resort has been taken over by a points system company and yet changed again to a company called Diamond I would not recommend joining the points system if part of your holiday involves a presentation.
Enjoy Pine Lake, it is lovely and the surrounding area but be very cautious about joining a points based holiday system as no matter what they say in the patter you will not be able to sell your points unless another member wants to buy them and that is unlikely. Also the yearly management fees are extortionate.

We have to go to a presentation whilst there but, I will not be taking up any of there offers.
The only place I would buy at the moment would be a site called "Welcome Family" Dawlish Warren.
They have some fantastic property there. We are booking another holiday next year.
After about 20 years, My Father in Law said that is the only place he would go back too. Thats says it all lol.
