| We booked this hotel for a weekwend night in Blackpool. In all honesty, it had had some awful reviews but finding some good ones, made us go for it. In the end it was a twin ensuite for £ 50 for a night...WHAT A MISTAKE !!!
We were put in a triple room, instead of twin, the space to walk around was minimal and a little claustrophobic. Thinking that ok, the price was cheap, we didn't ask for another room. The worst was to come later at night, the middle bed which held our only travel bag, gave away, the feet were literally broken and somehow they had managed to make it stand but the minimal touch made it plummet to the floor.
The boiling point came when they put a party of 6 young people in our floor, 3 in each room next to us. We came at around 2 am after some clubbing, exhausted to bed. They came around 3 and their private party with mobile ringing and door knocking began.
Unfortunately this “family run hotel" does not have any employee at night in reception, so basically it is a paradise for drunkard, selfish, furniture-destroying, low culture people, who are attracted for low tariffs and no control from reception at unsociable hours!!!
Not having no one to turn to we tried to reason with them, but little you can do when people are drunk and visibly on drugs.
We told the owner next morning, and he just said sorry as he laid the "FULL ENGLISH BREAKFAST “...a small sausage, 1 little bacon, 1 tiny fried toast and some beans...
All in all, AWFUL HOTEL, AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE, AWFUL MEALS...Avoid if you want to enjoy Blackpool, after an exciting tiring day, you NEED good rest don't compromise that for £ 50 , it is just not WORTH IT !!! We learnt that the HARD WAY!!!
