| I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO FIND OUT WHERE TO GET THE BEST DOLLER RATE AT THE MINUTE. I MANGED TO GET SOME YESTERDAY AT THOMAS COOK FOR 1.91 THE POST OFFICE WHERE SELLING AT 1.86 SO THIS WAS A BIG DIFFRENCE. CAN YOU RECOMEND ANYWHERE TO CHECK OUT WHERE IS THE BEST PRICE BEFORE YOU BUY. HATE DRAGING ROUND ASKING WHAT EACH RATE IS TO FIND THE BEST THANKS CAROL

I order it and then pick it up at the airport. The rate you order online is the rate you get when you collect.

| Someone told me that Thomas Cook normally do a deal on bank hols when you get 2 dollars for 1 gbp.
Maybe monday it will be on again.

| The actual official exchange rate is 1.97 dollar to the pound so all those that say they are commission free are still taking a cut.
The best one I could find was travelex web site which also states its commission free but gives you 1.93 dollar per pound.
