Direct Flights to Las Vegas
Hello,
I flew to Orlando with MyTravel a couple of years back. As they're a charter airline, you are pretty much paying for your seat and that's it.
The legroom isn't fantastic (30") but they do have personal seat back TV's in most of their long haul aircraft.
The downside is that, everything else on the flight is chargable. Drinks, meals, even headsets for the inflight entertainment.
I would also add that they're pretty strict on baggage allowances, (1 20kg bag per person) so if you're planning to go shopping you'd need to not take very much in the first place. They are so pedantic about this, they made my wife and our re-distribute our luggage between our cases because my case weighed 23kg and hers weighed 17kg.
I did however fly to Vegas with American airlines from Manchester in October last year, via Chicago. To be honest, it was nice to have a 90 minute break in the middle of the flight.
The choices of indirect flights from Manchester is quite large, with American and BMI via Chicago, Continental via Newark, Delta via Atlanta and US via Philadelphia, and I would seriously consider whether flying direct is more important than the quality of the flight before booking with MyTravel.

Last time I flew to Vegas, I went with Continental. This involved changing planes at Houston both ways.
This was a scheduled flight from Gatwick and so it left bang on time.
Leg room was great and they never stopped feeding you (for free).
Baggage allowance was 70kg per person and the hand luggage allowance alone was bigger than my largest suitcase.
I was dubious about the merits of changing planes but found that the short break at Houston allowed ample time to stretch my legs, use the facilities and grab a coffee etc.
When you land at McCarran, you land at the internal terminal (you will have passed through immigration at Houston) and getting out of the airport is very quick.
I booked all this together with the hotel and transfers through Expedia and the whole experience was perfect.
I always go to Vegas for 3 weeks and had previously flown direct cattle class with MyTravel - never again !
The other great factor was the cost. I saved over 600 going via Expedia over the My Travel cost and had much better treatment. I felt a valued customer not just another number.
Several airlines will do deals to Veags with a change of planes. You pays your money and takes your choice. I know which I prefer.
Hope this helps.
I go to Vegas regularly and if you want any more ifo feel free to come back

Direct Flights to Las Vegas
Hi, we have just got back from Vegas/LA with Delta from Manchester via Atlanta and the flights were great. The 767 was very spacious with a configuration of 2-3-2. Each sector we travelled on we had 3 seats between the 2 of us (we travelled Thursdays). It was very easy to get through immigration/customs in Atlanta outbound and inbound our luggage went straight through and we only had to walk to the next gate for our connection. It actually broke up the journey and made a long distance more bearable. We got a very good fare through Delta's website as it is in $'s so with the good rate for us makes it very reasonable.
On the other hand we went to Cancun with MyTravel last December and even though we were in Premium we found the service lacking and the crew offhand and unhelpful. We didn't have a lot more space than in Delta's main cabin! If you got a very cheap deal and could book extra leg room it might be worth it, but I wouldn't spend the extra on their premium cabin again.
