| Just returned from US and have brought back a lot of Dollar TC's ($2850). The idea was to use these to buy tours and large purchases ( as well as security and safety) but in fact didn't spend as much as expected and also used our Nationwide Credit card instead.
So, whatever the reasons, we have these TC and find the buy back rate will cost some £170 in lost value from original purchase price.
Can anyone suggest the best option to encash these TC.
I know I can keep them but do not intend to revisit USA for some time.
If I keep them then I lose out on savings interest anyway so I lose whichever way.
So, can I somehow swap these for dollar currency here in UK, or purchase items here using the TC.. help plse
