Planning a 3 week holiday here , flying into and out of Denver , has anyone got any suggestions or recommendations.
Confirmed plans so far are 4 days in Yellowstone and 3 in Jackson.

Hi happytripper. Are you planning on staying the entire 3 weeks in Wyoming? If so, I'd recommend a change in plans. It's a beautiful state -- particularly the two areas you mentioned -- and great to "get away from it all" but if you've never been to Wyoming it may be hard to fathom the vast expanses of nothingness that make up most of the state. Aside from the area around the national parks, there's really very little of real note to do or see in Wyoming. I'd recommend visiting some spots in Colorado or Montana while you're in the area. If you want to stick with the outdoors theme, Rocky Mountain National Park is close to Denver and relatively near the Wyoming border. Glacier National Park in Montana is a bit more out of the way but the drive can easily be done in a day from Yellowstone (one way), and there's some beautiful scenery along the way.
I don't mean to scare you away from Wyoming, and if you're just looking to relax or do some fishing, it might work for you. But if you want to actually sightsee or any of that sort of thing, I think 3 weeks is much, much too long.

Thanks for that , the idea is to chill a bit, go riding, rafting, and enjoy the wild life in the parks and really see one part of the US.
The only thing we really want to avoid is long days sitting in a car - too much like life at home.
But thanks for your suggestions, I'll look into it
