We leave for Florida in the next 3 weeks, for 2 weeks at the Oak Plantation Villas(never been there before) We have been to Florida before but never bought Disney tickets this side of the pond!!
I understand that the 14 day ultimate ticket will give us the best flexibility. I get a bit nervous though parting with sums of money over the Internet.
Has anybody recently bought tickets & if so where from as I can't decide which is best.
Also is the weather a bit of a lottery in december?

Hi, the best place to get your tickets is from attractiontix.co.uk they are one of the cheapest around and will send you n e-ticket confirmation which you exchange at the guest services window at which ever park you visit first and get your actual ticket.
We had the ultimate ticket when we went and it really is the best value for money.
Can't help with the weather but have a great time...I am so jealous cannot wait to go back!!

Hi V-Flyer, we have just returned from florida, the weathers been maverlous, approx 7 degrees above average, which in december is around 75-77.
We have always purhased our tickets prior to travelling (from internet), the 14 day ultimate is good. I have never had any problems with internt sites. Whilst researching this years tickets i found the 14 day ultimate ticket for 147 on the American Atractions site and theme park tickets direct site. It allows you to park hop and visit the disney waterparks, within that 14 day period. To get your monies worth though you must use it for around 7 or more days. You can pick up better deals from ticket outlets around international drive/kissimmee if you only intend to go into the parks for 4 or 5 days. To give you an example, we purchased 4 day base tickets - these allow you to visit one park per day only - and we paid $222, which is around 110. To get an idea of what you'll pay there, look at the disney.com site, it tells you the gate prices. Remember to add 6.5% onto the advertised price(Florida tax).
Have a great time!

Attraction tix do send e-mail verification, but try to use a site that actually sends you tickets. This will save you a lot of time not having to queue at the entrance.
