| I initially found this site to write a Hotel review having just returned from a Holiday in Malta and have finished up joining the site.
A word of advice if I may to anyone thinking of going to the Qawra/Bubigga area of Malta. There are a lot of supposed promotion reps in the area who want people to initially to fill in a questionairre.
Be firm with them and tell them to get lost. Its another waste of time.

| Hello Peter -- I went to Malta in 94 and had a great time , can't remember having trouble with touts but then it was a long time ago-- must go back sometime . Welcome to H/W Alan.

| Hi Peter welcome, We went to Malta in 1987 and was pestered constantly with timeshare touts they would wait outside the hotel for us and stop their cars at the side of us as we walked down the street we was stopped as much as 20 times a day it put us off going back to malta

| Welcome to the site Peter, I'm sure you'll enjoy it here. If you click on Chat room in the evenings you'll meet the regulars who are all very nice people.
My wife and I have been to Malta several times, love it too, we've stayed in Slieme, Marsascala and Bugibba. Never had them problems, my guess is that the holiday mafia are getting just about everywhere these days.
You've given the right advice, be firm and tell them to go away.
