Hiya, me and my boyfriend looking for our 2009 holiday for next June, was wondering if anyone could give us any ideas for hotels, we want somewhere cheap and basic, but not an 18-30 as we dont want rowdy. We also would like to be near enough to the nightlife but not to close for all the noise.
Any suggestions are welcome!

Hi,
Not sure if you have booked yet but i stayed in Kalamaki at the Macedonia Apartments.
Could not fault it one bit, plenty of restaurants in kalamaki and if you prefer smaller but still sometimes lively bars then this resort is ideal.
It is quiet during the day and even at night there isn't a mad rush but found it enough to keep us entertained.
If you want a livelier night then it is only a short taxi ride (5mins) to Laganas although when we went in one night, we didn't stay long as got hassled by people trying to get you in the clubs/bars. You don't get that in Kalamaki which is bliss.
Let us know how you get on and what you decide on. Have also heard Tsilivi is good too.
