ADVICE ON THE MALDIVES NEEDED? huduranandfushi

I have just book the last double room All Inclusive on Hudurandfushi Island Resort, North Atoll going in a 8 weeks time and we cant wait.
Has anyone been and stayed in the standard double room, we would of prefered a water villa but as i say this was the last room.
I have read both good and bad reports on this place but i suppose thats like any other holiday you look at too.
We have been wondering if we need to take anything in particular and do we tip thw staff?
Any advice on this holiday would be greatly appriciated
