Bed Bugs at Center Parcs Sherwood Forest?

We have just retuened from Center Parcs and 3 of us are covered in bites which show all the hallmarks of Bed Bugs!! has anyone else had this issue with Sherwood Forest, we stayed in Birch 358 Mid September 2009. CP are investigating but whats to stop them completely denying to us anyway even if they do find we were correct.

OMG yes but we were in CPs in Longleat in August. We have managed to bring them back into our home. I am smothered with bites and experiencing an allergic reaction to them and so is my daughter who is 2. It is the only place that we could have brought them back from as it is the only place we have been. We are having to have the bedrooms fumigated at a very high cost to us! I am furious.

I was going to send them an email complaining today, especially as we are due to go back in November.

Has your house now been infested?

Hi, so far we have not got them in our home as the bites are stopping and luckily our children have not been aftected who slept in seperate bed at CP but have both been in our bed at home. I am going to pursue this with CP as I have had 3 sleepless nights from itching so much and from itching have got scars from the bote marks, I just need some more people who slpet in the same accomodation as us to have been affected (not that I would wish it on anyone) to prove they have a problem.

CP are really dragging their feet on this, don't understand why it is taking so long to investigate. I would hate for anyone else to have to go through the same, especially children. At thier request I have sent them photo's of our bites (not a pretty site) but still no response
Urgently need to find others who have stayed at Sherwood Forest CP during September as it was only by chance of me visiting a nurse about another issue who told me they could be Bed Bug Bites, not sure how many other people would have thought to get thier bites investigated by doctor?

Why don't you tell Centre Parcs that you might mention it to the BBC Watchdog Programme as they have just done a feature on them about the high charges these impose for school holiday dates. I don't think they will like more Negative Press.
