hi, yes i have been to dalyan.. don't know which resort you are stopping in, but most resorts, sell the trup to dalyan, with a visit to the mud baths thrown in.. well worth it. the weather should still be warm.. maybe not into the 90's though.
yes you have to purchase a visa when you land £10.00 per person (including children) you have to look at this as an entry fee!! the visa is a sticker they put into your passport.. no charge on your return.. phew! when i landed at dalaman in may.. the swine flu 'police' were out, with their temperature testers, and white paper suits..this caused no problem though.. but you have to join one Q when you land, to have your passport stamped, then another to pay your tenners.. by the way they wont take fivers so make sure you have the correct amount in tenners.. no twentys either.
turkey is a beautiful place especially in the dalaman area.. so enjoy.

hi carol her again,
turkey is not expensive compared to spain.. price have gone up a little, but you get good value on food etc., it is the land of the copies, so plenty of bench, adidas etc., travel about in the dolmus, little mini-buses, very cheap, you can go anywhere in these.. taxi prices are usually displayed on a board near rank.. they are not too bad either. in olu deniz in may, which is glorious.the turkish people are very friendly, and helpful..i bet you will go again..!

Hello Gary.
Just to mention, they do not accept Scottish notes either. The visa last for 3 months, so if you happen to return within that time, you wont have to pay again.
Happy Holidays

hi gary, dalyan is beautiful place we went there last year, well we didnt stay there but passed through on a day trip on the way to the mud baths ( A Must do), and the weather is lovely during the day however a bit cold in the evening, so take a jumper or something, a sight lot warmer than the U.K in october, hahaha. yes you do need to get a visa you pay for it at the airport over there, it costs £10 each and make sure you have a £10 note each as they dont give you change. Hope that helps have a lovely time.
