December in Tenerife

We will be in Tenerife from the 10th till the 17th. We want to know if it's warm enough to enjoy Siam Park? Do we need warm clothes when we are in the volcano area trekking around? will we be able to actually see whales and dolphins during December and does anyone have any specific tour that they would recommend for this? does anyone have a link to valid information regarding pricing of public transportation (and bus lines) vs taxi's. thanks

the temp in dec is between 16c and 25c so you will be able to sunbath and enjoy yourself, you will need warm clothes up in the mountains, especially if your going up in the cablecar.
you can whale watch all year round in tenerife, dolfins are trickier to see, some excursions guarantee you will see whales or you get another trip to see them, freebird are very profesional.

if you are going to use the local bus service buy a bonocard from the local bus station,it gives nearly half price travel and one card will do all of your party, just tell the driver where you want to go and put the card into the machine on the bus once for each person,(if two of you put the card into the machine twice)they cost €12 and €30.

wilself,
why never use public transport???
the public transport is very efficient and always on time,if you want to goto santa cruz it costs about €5,if you use a taxi for the same journey it cost about €100.
i use the public transport all the time when i'm there and it is clean and safe to use, since the pound has collapsed taxi's are no longer cheap, public transport is very good value for money.
