Egypt Air internal flight help

Hello,

I'm trying to book an internal flight from sharm to cairo. Ive used all the advice from this forum and put egypt as my home country however the cheapest return flights i can find are about £70 each and i gather most people have got them for about £30?! I am not sure what i am doing fron or perhaps the prices have gone up since people have posted?! I have looked at every day between 12th May to 19th May and they are all that price or more.

I thought if i did it this way and used reallifeegypt for a tour guide it would be a nicer day but if i cant get these flights any cheaper then i might as well just get a group tour as it will be cheaper?

Any guidance help is greatly appreciated.

I have one more question! If i manage to book these flights myself then how long before the flight do you get to the airport to check in? Is it similar to UK and we need to be there 1.5 hours before?
