Hi all have booked flights myself this year to corfu from 21st aug for 2 weeks does anyone know best place to stay ? have a 3 yr old so would like a quiet place nice pool/beach near by etc few resturants for myself and partner dont ask for much do i lol anyway if anyone can point me in the right direction id be happy as a and boy cheers kim

there are lots of nice places to stay on corfu such as sidari in the north or messonghi in the south, but one place to avoid is kavos! my daughter lived nearby for about 5 years but in the 15 years since she left we have seen it change for the worse, from a friendly, clean and cheerful resort, to where the 18-30s are the norm and the last time we were there, 3 years ago, the streets were dirty, and it certainly wasn't the happy friendly place we had known. we wont be going back. i can't tell you about any particular hotels, and although you can always find somewhere when you arrive, i don't know about august, as this is peak time. hope you find somewhere nice and enjoy your holiday. good luck arrian
