Greece - Crete, Corfu or rhodes? help needed :-)

Hi me and my boyfriend are looking to book a holiday the end of may june time next year (2010) were looking at Greece. We have never been there so dont know the best resorts in Greece for what we want. We are both in our early 20s and are looking for somewhere that has a nice sandy beach and nice clear sea to swim in, and then with some decent nightlife but not like malia or faliraki, nightlife with a bit of variety if we wanted discos an bars it has them but then if we fancied more sort of greek themed nights it has them to... any suggestions would be great as i totally dont know where to start looking thanks.

Hi Clazia

Have you thought about Kalamaki on Zante? It is a beautiful island and you will get bitten by the Zante bug. There is enough to keep you entertained in Kalamaki, lots of resturants, bars and a few nightclubs. The beaches are gorgeous and you may even spot a turtle. An island boat trip is a must as you will go to the Keri Caves and Shipwreck Cove.

We have stayed at the Venus Hotel for the last 6 years now. I always book direct with Nick (the owner). It is b&b but next year he will be doing room only. The rooms are fab, as is the whole hotel.

Booking direct is very easy, also you will receive FREE transfers to/from airport,aircon, safe, and fridge which would otherwise cost you a fortune on checking in. www.venushotel.gr have a look.
