Stacy

Why any group of 18-21 year old girls would want to go on an All Inclusive holiday beggers belief. All inclusive holidays were aimed at families with young kids to stop parents delving into their pockets all the time to keep the kids happy. They're not ideal for alcoholics or aspiring ones because opening times for free "selected" alcoholic drinks is limited with poor bar service. That's if you get a good one. I'll spare you the details of a bad one as seen frequently on TV holiday progs. The maxim is the fewer things you pay for in advance then there's fewer things that can go wrong when you get there.

Stacy find yourselves good, inexpensive self catering accomadation, make snacks/sandwiches mid day, eat out in the evening and save money, you will. Have a great holiday. :D

I think All Inlcusive is great. I do so twice a year and have no children. Although we do trips and eat out occasionally still find it better value for money.

Not all 18-21 year olds are aspiring alcoholics. If that were the case I would recommend a cheap self catering deal in Magaluf. (YUK). Palma Nova is quieter and more family orrientated.

We went half board in Palma Nova at the Tropico Playa, right opposite the beach. The food is very British, which I disliked but suits many, and is a short walk to the nightlife of Magaluf. The downside to this hotel is the pool, which is very small. We used it as a base and this was fine.

Hi digs ;)

Thats the great thing about holidays we all have different choices as to what each thinks is the best way to enjoy them. That's the way it should be.

Many many years ago when still testing the water I went on a full board holiday and the food was dire and that's praising it. From that holiday on every one of ours has been s/catering working on the sceptical assumption that the more you pay for in advance then there's more things that you can be disappointed with. If you went into a restaurant would you pay for 21 meals without trying one 1st. That's what I did on my full board holiday and one of the things you do on an All Exclusive holiday. Do you go to the same one twice a year? If not and you keep trying new ones surely you must have come across the odd terrible one because according to the TV they do exist, more so in Europe than in the Caribbean but there as well.

Like I say digs each to their own and perhaps my dislike of booking All Exclusives encourages me to try to make young childless 1st time All Ex. bookers look at other options.
