How to book you own holiday with an agent??

Hi there,

I fancy a holiday in Corfu next summer and to be honest the price of a family of 4 is pushing nearly 3 grand and is a joke.

I want to book my own flights / hotel / car so a few questions for anybody with experience and knowledge of Corfu doing this:

- I'm looking for a quiet family resort. Queit as in a few bars and nicerestaurants. Not boozy, no family entertainment and no kareoke. Any suggestions.

- Is there anyway of approaching the hotels that feature in holiday brochures directly and booking with them direct?

- Flights. Any recommendations?
