A word of warning - I bought a diamond ring in Cavelossim at the jewellers opposite Mike's Place (on the same side as Casa De Chris where I was staying) on Xmas day. When I examined the ring in the shop it looked really nice and was just what I wanted. It was a bit too small for me and the guy said he would resize it and I could pick it up in a couple of hours. We were leaving for home the next day and had told the jeweller this before we left. He told us to come back at 10pm and it would be ready. When we returned to the shop the ring was there and I quickly tried it on and paid for it. It wasn't until I returned home that I realised the ring I had purchased was not the ring I had tried on initially. They had changed the two side bagette diamonds into two tiny slivers which have since fallen out as they didn't fit the setting. I am so upset and disappointed in these people as I had trusted that they would just resize the ring but instead they had obviously decided to cheat me. I don't know the name of the shop as the receipt just gives their head office address in Kashmir, but it is opposite Mikes Place on the same side as Get Down restaurant. If anyone knows of them or has a email address for that shop, I would be most grateful if you could pass it onto me - otherwise avoid this place like the plague - they are not honest people.
