Heya.
Im looking to go Egypt in July next year with the girlfriend and was just wondering if anyone had any hotels and areas they recommend ?
A friend of mine works in a travel agents and found us a hotel called "Tropicana Grand Azure" in "Sharm El Sheikh" which worked out to be around £1600 for the both of all inclusive.
I read various reviews on the hotel but some say that the hotel is rather old now is this correct ?
Someone also said they think the price is a bit steep....They paid £1100 for 2 people hurgarda ?
Im basically looking for a holiday that is:
Around £800 each
Has good day trips eg camel rides, quad biking, watersports, boat trips etc.
Has a nice sandy beach close by.
Isnt too lively at night but also isnt very quiet.
So anywhere that you recommend ?
Thanks
Paul

well you are best out of luck man. egypt is more of a going out town not a camel riding, water sport, or sand whatever sport town. it is a going out having fun and drinking a lot town. if i were you, you should go with your girlfriend to this club in downtown,Cairo, called "after eight club", you and your girl will have fun and trust me she will thank you. You should also go to the Marriott Hotel since its like $200 a night and is a palace, plus in the center of the city. they can help you with all your excitement needs with camel riding and all. btw there is no drinking age, or whatever restriction that is enforced so drink all you can. btw with $2400 you can do a lot in Cairo, i don't think you need to worry about a budget problem in Cairo since everything is cheap compare to Europe. need more questions please ask.

hi me and 5 mates went to egypt in june , its realiy good for trips out we went quad biking ,diving, some went to cairo and lux, and a boat trip, we stayed in st georges 3 corners and they had a bus that took u to the beach which was shallow but some hotels have a beach with a jetty so you cant walk in the water only off the jetty, we only went to the night town few times but only was there about 2 hours , hope this helps you .oh and its realiy hot there to.
