Maldives and mosquitoes

Going to Kuredu in November and I was wondering if there are mosquitoes on the islands? Would it be a good idea to take citronella spray as a repellent?

I was in the Maldives over the new Year a few years back but I don't remember there being any mosquitos - there was suprisingly little insect life at all as they have very little freshwater on the islands. Still, no harm to bring some citronella spray just in case as it may be different at that time of year.

Citronella spray won't take a much space in your luggage, so you should take it just in case. Although I have not noticed too many mosquitoes there in this time of year.
