I love Oman! I think its the best country in the middle east!

I was planning a trip to Oman and I got directed from the Oman Air website that there is a prize draw to win a holiday to Oman! Best part of this is that 3 people win every month. You must answer a few questions but nothing google can't find for you.

Check it out: www.holidayinoman.com

I love Oman too. I've been a few times and it is absolutely wonderful. The Mussandam is stunning and mainly only accessible by sea so you can take a dhow and visit all the hidden coves and villages. The water is fantastically clear and you'll have porpoises playing around the prow of the boat.

Further south on the southernmost tip at Ras al Had you can go to the beaches where the giant turtles come to lay their eggs by moonlight. Seeing this was one of the most magical experiences of my life.

It is a little off the beaten track and not as geared up for tourism as the Emirates but it is well worth a trip.

I completely agree Serena.

One of the beauties of Oman is that it has kept its heritage.

Oman boasts dramatic scenery, with a rich culture and a wealth of historical sites, beautiful beaches, world class hotels and fabulous shopping opportunities. Its a great place for people to visit within the Arabian Gulf for those that want to experience the real Arabia as opposed to the glass and steel jungles of its neighbouring countries.(not to mention any places!)

The capital, Muscat, is a must see. Its blend of ancient and modern and its legendary markets – called Souqs - ensure that the city offers fantastic opportunities for people to explore and get to know Oman, before venturing further afield.

Have you entered the holiday in oman competition Serena?
