Hi Jay,

I've never been to Cuba myself, what info were you looking for?

We had a great 2 weeks there! The people that work at the hotel were lovely! don't bother with the cuban resturant a total waste of space - it was the same food that you can get at the main resturant! but apart from that it was a lovely holiday!

we had one of the villas on the beach - it was fab

We didn't bother with the entertainment, but we did share some lovely sunsets and cocktails sitting on the beach!

Cuba - Caribe Club Cojimar

went in 2005 and we also had a villa on the beach, the staff were great, always there to help, we were evacuated on the second week and taken to a "higher star rating" hotel and in my opnion it was nowhere near as good.

we returned after 48 hours and were shown some pics of the damage that the hotel had received, but all the staff had pulled together and the place was back to the way it was when we arrived.

again, the separate restaurants are not that exciting but just a different night out, we watched the entertainment most nights and it was great.

the rooms are fairly basic but have a shower, toilet, aircon, safe, huge beds and blackout curtains, and the pics you see online are exactly the same as you get, none of this " it looks better in our until you get there type pics"

i tipped the staff fairly well while i was there and it paid off, every meal time my table was reserved with our drinks all set out, and we never had to get up and get our own as a refill was always there when we finished

food was ok but after 2 weeks it starts to repeat but there is a great selection and something for everyone, even chips if you so desire.

i am off there again in july 08
