What is Kavos like ?

hiya everyone me and a few mates are going to kavos this year and just wondering is it worth it ? we are staying in the chandris apt. has any one stayed there is the hotel nice clean cheap 4 drinks ect

I'd hate Kavos full of drunken kn**heads and loose women--(stop drooling) but since i'm a old fart thats about right, my 3 sons would love it so i expect you will too-- so have a great time i'm just glad i won't be there with you.

I went to Kavos about 3 years ago with my two daughters, aged 16 and 17 and 4 other 17 year olds and they all loved it.If you like bad food,non stop music and the smell of bleach and vomit during the daytime you are probably going to be in the right place.Good luck.....it was the worst place on earth as far as I was concerned!

The rape capital of Corfu - according to the guide who conducted us to Paxos. It looked OK from the boat, about a mile away - but then I'm another old fart. Hope someone younger will present something more positive for you. Someone should, as it's very popular with 18s to 30s.

i went to kavos in 1999 and from what I've heard it hasn't changed much or got worse and I hated it we spent the majority of nights at our apartments. would go back to corfu but only north of the island. But each to ones own you mag go and like it so don't let me spoil it for you.

Kavos is great if you're looking for a resort full of young kids and alcohol!! My sister goes every year and enjoys it, however, depends what sort of holiday you are looking for? If it's young and lively then it's the place to go, lots of bars and nightclubs and not a bad beach. Go by the descriptions in the brochure, best bet booking with Olympic Holidays for a cheap holiday or last minute.com. but be careful your accommodation could be noisy at night. The other alternative if you want to stay in Greece is Malia or Stalis for young and lively and you're likely to get better accommodation. Unfortunately Corfu hasn't moved with the times where accommodation is concerned and you will probably find the rest of the island a too quite.

Went to Kavos Sep 2006 and hated it. The whole place is so dirty the pubs are scruffy and the beach the pits. Our apartments were not the best but compared to some not too bad. I would never go back you should try ayia napa much nicer.

hey im goin to kavos and stayin at the southcoast apartments wondered if people had stayed and what they thought of it.
