not so all inclusive
Have just come back from a not so all inclusive holiday in Torremolinos(Luca Costa Lago) First no icecreams for kids or adults.Second no service at the bar ,nomatter how many guests are there ,the waiter will not fetch you a drink, if you wear the band. Hide the band and !HEY PRESTO! they are all over you. Like germans.Surely the management can see that because you have already paid their asking price in full, they should treat you the same way as those who may not pay at all ,and take their buisness else where. This can not be said of the restaurant where we were treated with respect , regardless of A/I OR H/B.

not so all inclusive
Hi Nickliz
I agree this has happened to us before, the waiter used to serve the half boarders first with their bottle of wine and leave us until last even though we would have proberbly paid more for the holiday been on AI than them on half board, I dont think it fair either

Hey Guys.
1 cannot 4 the life of me see the advantages of A/I. Firstly you condem yourselves 2 staying on site in case you miss an ice -cream..lol..
Secondly you rob the local traders, of your business even if its only a cup of Tea..lol.. Thirdly do you really make those savings??

Yes I dont see the attraction of All Inclusive either I would much rather share my money amongst the local community than give it all to one greedy hotel owner who takes it then wont serve you.
All Inclusive hotels are damaging to the local restaurants, bars and other businesses.

I have stayed A/I and also H/B. I only did A/I on last minute deals, although it's OK and probably a godsend for parents not to have to keep forking out for ices and pop I have found that the drinks quality is often very poor, and as I'm more of a social drinker I don't think I would get what could be regarded as money's worth.
I know that there are people who judge their A/I by the amount of booze they neck down, but that's not my scene.
Speaking personally, I'd sooner go H/B and choose my own place, but hey, hourses for courses.
