First Time to GS.

Hello everybody.

This year we are going to golden sands for our hol's their are six of us myself and she hwo must be obeyed,my daughter & son and there parteners
eldest me 60 youngest 21.
we travel on the 17th. of august come home on 31st.
staying in the Paradise Geen Park Apartments can any one tell me about these apartments.eg.how far to the main strip and the beach.Where are the best bars Not Irish Or British Bars.as I live in Ireland & spend a lot of time in the U.K. on business
Is it better to hire a car on line or wait till we get their.
In Greece Ilaly Spain France Holland.I always have problems with mosquito's is this a problem here.

Hi just returned from Paradise apts. The resort is extremely hilly and it is a long walk down the hill into the resort. practcally impossible on the way back up. We used taxis up most of the time. There are thousands of bars the place is constantly jumping. In my opinion i would never hire a car the drivers are all nuts. Just hire a taxi for the day and let the driver take you about. Just negotiate aprice and he will take you anywhere and wait for you. No mosquitos that i saw.

we have been to GS numerous times you will find plenty of bars restaurants of all nationalities try the cocktail bar opposite hotel sofia ,there are the usual britsh bars ,irish bar , also russian german bier keller. your appartment are a good walk from the prom all down hill going but a killer getting back, as for car hire we normally hire a taxi for a day , its not very expensive

I guess we will have to hire taxi;s that take 6 passengers as I can,t see us walking back at night if it's that hilly are there 7 seater taxi's

Hi Mike

Never saw any 7 seater taxis. But remember to negotiate your price. It should be 10 lev bout �3.50 to or from the beach.
