my twin boys used took their nintendo ds's on the plane a few weeks back.
we asked the stewardess could they use them on the plane. and was informed it was ok, as long as they didnt have the sound on...

we flew from manchester with thomson's to salou..

There are usually no problems with hand held game consoles on flights, but mobiles cannot be used at all.

When I went to Malta last year, they said we wasn't allowed to. We flew by Thomas Cook?
I'm not sure if it was something to do with the WIFI? But what if we turnt it off.
