I am off to the Maldives for my honeymoon next month, and I know they have rules about what can be taken through customs. I am on a prescribed ventolin inhaler and need to take it with me and wondered if anyone knew if I will be ok taking this or need to get a letter from my Doctor to back it up? Have tried so many different places, including Maldives Embassy and FCO, and cannot get an answer.
If anyone can advise me, I would be very greatful!!
Thank you, Sunshine 22

Taking Prescribed Medication into the Maldives - Please Help
My step-mum is on tablets that are prescribed for her MS. They go to the maldives alot , went for there honeymoon in May this year, and she has never had any problems with taking them. Just make sure you take it in its box that it comes in with the sticker the chemist sticks on. Espically the case with tablets, as if you put them in a clear pot or something they wont know what they are.
Have a lovely time
