I am booked on the Ocean Village for a Cruise in March 2008,we are on deck 6 and I have read various reports about it being a very noisy deck, has anyone got any first hand experience of cabins on this deck.I read a recent review from Mrs Gardiner who was on Deck 6,perhaps you can reply in a bit more detail i.e where was your cabin situated and do you get alot of noise from the restaurant /bar above.
Any other comments good or bad would be appreciated.
Is anyone else going on OV2 5th March 2008??

Deck 6
where are you on deck 6?
the only issue is the waterfront restaurant on deck 7 ,This is at the rear of the ship, this restaurant tends to close by 10.30 pm and they were quite strict about closing times ..
Above the cabins on deck6 are two open decks on 7, smoking starboard and non smoking port
even in peak season these were quiet so you shouldnt get too many people shuffling around above you

Deck 6
hi
i dont know if this is of any help . we were on deck 11 underneath the plantation restaurant and did not here a thing.
we were booked on to deck nine and were up-graded to eleven. Never heard any noise at night I thought the ship was well sound proofed.

Deck 6
Hi,
Thank you for the replies,we are actually very central on deck 6 so hopefully we wont hear to much noise,I'll just have to remember to pack my earpugs. If you have any other info about the boat that you think will be of interest please let me know.
Thanks
