Ficardos Restaurant

I am new to this site and I was wondering if anyone could help and tell me where ficardos restauarnt is situated in Paphos. My daughter is thinking of having her wedding reception there. Is it near the sea so we would get a sea view. As anyone else had there reception there.

Ficardos is located just before the main strip of hotels. as you are going from Alexander the great hotel away from the harbour, you will pas the Aloe Hotel on your left keep on going & you will come to a triangle area, keep to your right & you will see O'Solomans Irish pub just pass there is Ficardos & just after is the Amathus Hotel. I don't think you have a direct view of the sea from the restaurant but it is about 20 - 30 yards away

hi we have just returned from our daughters wedding in paphos and she had her reception at ficardos. It was a very special occasion and nicolas the owner made it that way for them. When we arrived at the taverna we relaxed in their garden and had champagne etc. We then had a meze for 30 people and it was wonderful. The staff where wonderful and we danced and relaxed until midnight. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking at a wedding reception that is very cypriot and wanting a relaxing and entertaining evening. Nicolas even danced for us. We had a wonderful time.

We have had the Fircardos recommened to us also for April 2009. I would be really interested in finding out what entertainment would suit this venue and if anyone has any recommendations? many thanks

At my daughters wedding reception at Ficardo's we took our own cd's which they were happy to play for us. They gave us a seperate room for the wedding reception and decorated it for us. The food was lovely and Nikolas and his staff made it a very special day for my daughter and her husband. They have greek music also and Nikolas danced for us. I would recommend this taverna for a wedding reception it was a wonderful and enjoyable day. When the bride and groom arrive the guests line up and welcome them and they cut a ribbon on entering the reception. You then sit in their garden until the food is served, it is very relaxing. You can walk to the beach to haave photo's taken down the side of the taverna, and if you are hot as I was you can paddle in the sea!!!!

we have weding/gift/craft./card shop just across the road from the resturant (between the veronica and avanti hotels) if you need any gifts /favors etc
we work with a number of wedding planners

all the best for the wedding and reception cyprus is brill!!!!!
