i have done bex just posted a review on the stegna bay apartments nobody else has yet , ive done it because i couldnt find a lot of info on that particular area , and ive always found it to be a great help when choosing holidays thought it would benefit felow holiday makers as a lot of rhodes hols are centered on the well developed resorts and Stegna isnt, Jan

Hi, really pleased to at last see a review for Stegna Bay apartments. We have booked to go there next June/July. Have been to Stegna for the last 2 years and stayed at Constantinos. So glad the review is a good one as we love Stegna, cannot think of a single negative thing to say about it. Mercedes bar was undoubtedly our favourite place to go after dinner, and can't wait to see everyone there again last year. Nikos was particularly good with the children and even took our 5 year old son fishing on his boat. (I secretly think he is the reason my 2 daughters want to go back!) We will definately hire a car next year and do more sightseeing. We have been to the waterpark, Rhodes town and Lindos but still have lots to see - we just have trouble dragging ourselves out of Stegna!

I`m glad you enjoyed my review cant wait to get back niko took both my husband and son fishing for kalimari, he `s one of the most genuine Greeks i have met.N, Niko wasn't working in Mercedes in September when we were there , he had a motorbike accident two days after we left and broke his shoulder (a goat ran in front of his bike )hes doing really well tho had to have his shoulder pinned he has his own apartments which should be ready for next summer. We`re planning to go back in May , you`l love the Stegna bay apartments , really well kept and Fotini and Kostas are lovely

We must have overlapped our time there. Niko had his accident 3 days before we left. He came to the Mercedes bar on our last night to say goodbye and was in a real mess. Glad to hear he is on the mend. You probably went to the Karaoke nights, out kids were the ones hogging it and doing a really awful rendition of teletubbies! I've lost count of the number of times they have watched their DVDS of this.
I agree that Niko is very geniune, but we found on the whole the locals were all great.( of course Niko and Christos were our favourites) I don't know what it is about Stegna but it has won a place in our hearts, and we don't want to go anywhere else. I just hope it doesn't become too commercialised, we were shocked at the new night club as it isn't really a clubby place or maybe we are just getting old!

If you mean Nikos Giannias, let me tell you, this man is the worst person and hypocrite I have ever met so far!!! All the time he was making his appearance and passing himself off as the best frind and at the end picked over my girlfriend I loved above all!!!

dont think its the same niko , hes married with three kids and a lovely bloke , youve got to remember its a common name in greece and they`re not all the same
