Any Kids cruising July 2008?

Postby buddybouy on Wed Oct 24, 2007 3:46 pm

Hi

We are boarding the Thomson Spirit on 4th July 2008 for 2 weeks. My 12 year old twins (boy and girl) were wondering if any other kids of similar age are travelling at this time and whatkind of things will be going on to keep them amused.

thanks

There are bound to be many kids of your twins age onboard even though its not the school hols yet.
There is no teen club on Thomson ships though on the Celebration this summer, one of the Ents team, organised a Teen Getogether, it wasnt much but it got them to meet up and then they were able to make a friend for the holiday, but this was during the school sumer break though and on the Destiny during Easter holidays there wasnt any entertainment for teens organised.
Asfar as what to do, well they can swim, watch any activities that are going on, eg ice carvings etc. To be honest the kids amuse themselves by just hanging out with their new friends.

We were on Destiny in August and there was Tribe club for 9 to 12 year olds ,my son is 11 and he enjoyed it ,there is an x box so he got his fix. Also there was Teen Extreme club where the kids could get together. To be honest my children loved cruising we have been twice and have booked again my 6 year old daughter seems to think this is the only way to holiday.Im sure they will enjoy their holiday just waking up somewhere new each day is great ,theres the pool to enjoy and meeting other kids, they will not be bored.Have a great time.

Hi
We are travelling on the 11th July for 2 weeks with 2 daughters aged 16 and 11, and also two other families, both with kids of the same age.
We were on the Destiny last year and enjoyed it so much we have booked again ,this time on the Spirit.
There was loads to do particularly for the kids who wanted to book again in 2008! I am sure you will enjoy it.
