Herathera Island- Not complete? booked to go

My dad was set to go to this Island for two weeks on feb 11th. Altohugh looking on the internet, it is thought the island is no where near completion.

They havent heard anything from First Choice , and with not long to go they decicied to give them a ring. They Said they will move them to a different island and have done this.

If my dad didnt ring them , then it would of been intresting to see what would of happended. Bad customer service espcially when they paid more than �1500 each !

Any one else heard anything or set to go to Herathera IsLand, +should of 1st choice contacted them sooner ?

Hi Missy J, We have only just heard from first choice about herathera not being complete we go a week before your dad. They told us on 30/11/07 that the island would be completed by the time we arrived there. Now they say the island is part building site and stinks due to dredging. They have offered us only one alternative and for this we must pay extra, did your dad have to pay extra and did he have any trouble getting an alternative holiday.

Hey , Sorry for the late reply , No they did not have to pay extra, and are going to a island they have been before so are happy as they know its nice and enjoyed it before, but still disapointed that they couldnt go to Herathera.

That sounds Crazy that they are making you pay extra, its there fault at the end of the day for taking bookings for some where thats not complete! Let us know how you get on and i hope it works out for you. You shouldnt have to pay extra , its not your fault this has happened madness.
