What about the a la cart resturant charging 15 cover p/pers
We have never heard of this before on a cruise ship, we are traveling April 08 and were disapointed to discover this. Only just started I think.

Is the 15 a deposit against yuor booking and therefore deducted from the final bill or is it on top of the final bill?

Rip off!
Wouldn't go anywhere near the place and I would make sure I told 'em!
Sorry but I think its a right rip off. It's really a booking fee then!
Not really helpful but I like to voice my opinion!!....hehe.

This is standard on most cruise ships, just stop and think what you are getting for your 10 to 15.
You can book the table for the night, against two seating dining, which is sometimes a rush.
Your food is cooked just like a first class resturant, to order, there are usually a couple of extra courses, the waiters have just four tables to cover, so service is outstanding.
And finally this is an extra experience, which can or can't be added to your cruise. we have tried it on every cruise, and can say outright all have been well worth the extra.

Nice little earn and a rp off. The whole part of the cruise experince is once on board you only need money for drinks and tips. What they are doing is charging you a supplement for your food. Who ever came with this charge needs his bits cut off, but if it was a woman I am a bit stuck with bits cut off.

For heaven sake, nobody makes you try these speciality resuarants,
and no one in their right mind would take children to one.
They are for that extra night out and if you think they are a rip off, just use all the other free ones.
Just wonder how many of those complaining about the cost have acually tried one?
