North Carolina holiday

i went to north carolina around 5ys ago and i must say it was a great holiday the area that i stayed was called wake forrest very beatifull indeed were all the homes are built in the forrest the american people i found to be real pleasant and very very polite
the general eating out was very reasonable indeed and every were was so clean it was a real pleasure to see, from wake forest you had a wonderfull motorway access which would get you to the beach in around 2.5 hrs the beach was called murtle beach yet again very clean and tidy i have fond memories of north carolina and its people
as anyone been to this part of good old america ???
as a footnote i traveled with american airways from manchester intl and they were the best company i have ever traveled with yet again wonderfull service on board and very polite and accomodating
and theirs me before i went that amercian people we arrogant and brash and loud far from it it was truly a remarkable vacation
it cost me �120 return that was cheap mind you i went 4 months after 9/11
