Camping Sardinia August 2008

Hi I wanted to ask some advice. We are heading to sardinia the first week in August this year. We are hoping to travel round the island visiting different camping sites.

We have been told that August is the busiest time. Can someone please advise will we need to book our camp sites in advance or can we just turn up? I don't want to turn up and find we have nowehere to stay.

Also can anyone recommend good sites? Not too overrun with children with good access to beach and going out at night?

hi there, we also are going to sardinia at the beginning of august and are having terrible problems finding somewhere reasonably priced to stay as they are all long booked up!! Let us know if you find something!! Wizardshineltd@aol.com thanks a lot. Pref with 2 beds or 1 bed with a liv room.
