Hi, just got back from two weeks at the festival le jardin, before we went we were a little apprehensive as it was a new hotel, no reviews ect. We were pleasantly surprised. The Hotel is lovely and the staff fantastic. The waiters in the lobby bar are just lovely and the animation team are great, really make you feal at home and will do anything for you. Especially Ramzi. Say Hi to him for me. You'll have a great time.

Also im pregnant and worried it will be too hot out there, how did u find the heat?

hi. Its a new hotel and can't find any reviews in English. there are alot of reviews in Dutch if you google "festival le jardin" you will find them. I managed to translate some of them and most gave a really good report, especially about the entertainement team and the food, beach and pool. the only negative is the location, there is literally nothing outside the hotel and you would need to get a taxi. The hotel is located between El Gouna and Hurghada so its in a good location just nothin outside the resort.

I spoke to someone who is out there at the moment and he is going to to email me when he gets back so I will let u know x

Hi,
I am going to the Festival Le Jardin on the 8th August. Would love to hear from you when you get back and let me know what it is like.
I have been to Hurgahda before and we stayed at the Golden Sunset Hotel, it was very nice. We only tried to go out of the hotel once and got hassled by taxi's every 2 minutes. Women have to cover up if you go out of the hotel. We gave up and just stayed at the hotel. We wanted a relaxing break and thats what we got. If you want something lively then its not for you. I dont really like going on trips, more of a beach/pool person with a good book but alot of the other guests went on loads of day trips out and really enjoyed them.
Look forward to hearing from you soon

Hi, I believe out hotel has an internet cafe so ill reply to this post whilst im there :)

when u say women have to cover up..to what extent. I was under the impression if you went to hurghada or on a touristy trip u would be ok in shorts, skirt and vest top as u would on any other holiday? x

I'm going on my Honeymoon on the 8th for 2weeks, the covering up part is apparently for the relious areas etc, but it can be very breezy on a night, taxis cost next to nothing apparently, usually 2-3 british pounds (20-30 egyptian) have been warned when gettin in a taxi ask the cost and confirm they mean egyptian not english!
