Hi Darren,

Congratulations on your forthcoming wedding.

All entertainment on board is free, as is most of the gym, as you are AI all standard drinks are included you would only pay a little extra for premium drinks. Do watch out it is wine by the Glass not by the bottle.

Laundry service on board is fairly cheap and often by the bag. (found in cabin)

I have not been on the Calypso, but all other Thomson ship have washing machines and ironing room.

You pay all on-board expenses by your room card and pay account at end of cruise, credit card is best.
Cruising is like 'Being in the Garden of Eating'

Hi, and congratulations! The Calypso is a great little ship, and I'm sure your honeymoon will be really special. There is no self service laundry on board, just the cabin service, about £2.50 for a shirt, 50p for item of underwear. I've only ever used it for "emergencies". As you are all inclusive, all drinks and entertainment onboard are free, as Tenpin says, apart from a small supplement for premium items (this mark-up is printed in blue on the bar menu ).
It's glasses of wine in the dining room when all inclusive, but wine waiters fill them up promptly!
Your only expenses will be what you spend ashore, excursions, treatments in the spa/beauty salon, room service, celebration packages (flowers, champagne breakfast etc), any purchases from the shop or photographer, and tips if you choose to give them. Tips ARE included in the price and there is no obligation, but most people give cabin steward something extra, and any waiter or other staff who have been particularly good.
You certainly won't be the only "first timers" , and everything is very well explained on board. Even the reception staff are lovely on this ship!
