Hi
Anybody going on the Destiny to the Caribbean in March 2010. What are you planning to do? Any nice beaches within walking distance of where the ship docks? Not been to the Caribbean before so any info would be appreciated Looks a great cruise. Thanks.

Hi
My wife and I are doing the 2 Thomson Caribbean cruises back to back and have been on 2 of Thomson's ships before, The Emerald & Spirit around the Med. We have booked to go on The Destiny in May on The Jewels of the Med Cruise so should have an idea what the ship is like when we go to the Caribbean. I am sure you will enjoy your 1st cruise we did.

First cruise with Thomson Destiny this coming Xmas & New year.
Usually go with P&O,(Arcadia, Oceana and old Arcadia (Now Ocean Village 1), but also been with Carnival, Ocean Village and Costa.
Still a bit apprehensive with some of the comments about the ship & Cabins, but i'm sure i'll not be disapointed. Can't wait!

Hi Blastaway,

Returned to Costa last year after some two years away, ships are fantastic & some very good Itineries, loved the Serena back on her in Feb 2010, hated the Concordia, had a look over the 'Ship of Light' Luminosa but not very impressed very dark, lol. They are having problems with embarkation at some terminals, not enough control, but Savona remains one of the best terminals ever.

Haven't done P&O or Carnival for ten years or more as Costa & Princess are offering better deals.

Anyway have a great cruise let us know how they compare on your return.
Cruising is like 'Being in the Garden of Eating'
