Regarding Oriano Cruise Ship

Cruise

Postby Krissyboi on Fri Apr 15, 2011 16:34 pm

I have been contemplating taking another mini cruise as I have done one with P&O's Oceana and couldn't fault it.

I had a quick look at Oriana on their website and it didnt seem as glam as Oceana, is there much difference in the two?

Many Thanks

Hi,

My name is Rosie and I work for Scotland's Cruise Centre, a travel agents who specialise in cruise holidays. I have been lucky enough to cruise on both Oriana and Oceana. Oriana is a more traditional liner with a more traditional feel. I would not say that Oceana was more glamorous but I would agree that Oceana's Atrium is more glamorous than Oriana's. One big difference between Oriana and Oceana is Oriana's Crows Nest bar. The equivilant is the Plaza buffet on Oceana. Instead of eating yoru breakfast with spectacular views at the front of the ship Oriana has made this space into a beautiful bar where you can relax with a pre dinner drink.

If you copy and paste the link below into your web browser you can see a bit more about Oriana

Oriana is to become an adult only ship as of next year so the area that used to be the kids club will now be more cabins.

I hope this helps,

Rosie
